Boston all-electric PCC
car 3204, out of service at Arborway Car House, was one of 3 cars that
ended up in the Coney Island subway yard in Brooklyn. I saw this
car on a flatbed trailer on Coney Island Avenue at Avenue M on May 23,
1979. It was the first PCC to travel on Coney Island Avenue since
the line went bus on November 30, 1955, 11 months before Brooklyn's PCC's
were retired.
