Boston Transportation
MBTA Riverside Line at Newton
Highlands during the late fall of 1973 (the slide mounts were embossed
"Dec 73" by the processor). This was at a time when the line was being
reconstructed and the T had built a temporary loop west of the Newton Highlands
station to turn the cars;
buses ran to Riverside. The loop was at what used to be known as Cook Jct.
in RR days - jct between the Highland Branch and the line to Needham just
south of Route 9.
