1717 makes the turn from Second Ave. onto Blohm Street on the R-Savin Rock via RR Station-Second Avenue line, a lesser-known way to get to the Savin Rock amusement park.  This was a single-track line with passing sidings that ran through some nice neighborhoods, and was abandoned November 15, 1947.
