Car 491 pulling trailer
686 on the first trial run of a trailer train in Atlanta, March 1, 1944
near the Walton Street interurban terminal. The cars were purchased second
hand from Birmingham because of the wartime surge in traffic on the Marietta
line to the Bell Bomber plant.
