The Marietta line
paralleled the Louisville And Nashville railroad tracks most of the way
to Marietta. A new siding was built at the Bell Bomber plant south
of Marietta during the war. Here car 482 is northbound at the siding
on May 10, 1946. The war is over, the line is
in decline.
