Georgia Railway &

Atlanta
After the Marietta line
was abandoned in late 1947, the River line cars continued to lay over on
the Walton Street sidiing in front of the Georgia Power office building.
Car 970 loads up some of the last passengers in April 1949. The trolley
coach overhead can be seen in the background wiring up the same siding
for the 19-River TCs to use.
