TRACTION AROUND NORTH AMERICA
Shaker Heights Rapid Transit PCC streetcar #41 was built by St. Louis in 1946 as St. Louis Public Service #1769.  Sold to SHRT in 1958, it operated until retired in the mid-1980's.  It is now stored in moderate shape on a farm near Buckeye Lake, Ohio.
