TRACTION AROUND NORTH
AMERICA
Philadelphia Transportation
Company #2711, a PCC car built by St. Louis in 1947, is an anomaly at the
Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. Donated to the Museum by SEPTA, #2711
was rebuilt for PTM - but not authentically. It was made handicapped-accessible
and had its seating changed. The car is used by PTM, but mainly for
charters and parties.
