TRACTION AROUND NORTH
AMERICA
Massachusetts Bay Transit
Authority #3333 has an interesting history. Part of an order for
unusual double-end PCC cars, it was built by Pullman-Standard in 1945 as
Dallas Railway & Terminal #625. It ran in Texas until it was
sold to Boston in 1959, there to become part of MBTA's series of "Texas
Ranger" PCC's. It was acquired by the Connecticut Trolley Museum
in 1978 and is operational.
