You will note the trolley
wire is pretty tough and usually does not break. The line was cleared using
a chain saw, slicing and dicing the pole from the bottom. Then the
high rail bucket truck was used to remove the mast arm and associated hardware
from the running wire. A couple of days later we had a auger truck
drill out the rotten pole base and set a new 35 foot pole and
re-attached the mast arm,
hog rod, and hardware back in place.
