On the left is Milwaukee Electric Railway & Light
#M-15, built by "the TM" in 1920. The Mukwonago to East Troy segment
(on which it operated as a freight motor after the Village purchased the
line) was isolated from the rest of the rest of the system after Hales
Corners to Mukwonago service was abandoned in 1939. Therefore, M-15 was
converted to a "dual purpose" sort of vehicle by the addition of the roof
platform so the isolated railroad could maintain its overhead. The
line also owned Differential dump motor D-13. Both units also saw duty
as snow plows on the East Troy line.It later served with the Municipality
of East Troy Railroad. It is mechanically operational, but is not
operated because of structural problems. On the right is the beautiful
Illinois Terminal center-entrance car #101. This car was built as
Alton, Granite & St. Louis #64 by the American Car Company in 1917.
These cars were pulled out of barn 6 for display on July 4, 2001.
