Los Angeles Railway
1446 on Route W at Washington
& 7th Street
The identification is difficult,
because 7th St. and Washington are parallel. It is actually 7th Ave.
Take a look at those street name signs. They are uniquely Los Angeles.
And (most unfortunately), one can even see them in the Antelope Valley,
where the kanker has spread its ugly tentacles. Notice the Ralph's sign
on the building to the left of the photo. Ralph's was (and may still be)
a dominant grocer in South California. It was as ubiquitous as was Safeway
in North California.
