Los Angeles Railway
3110 on Route V at 39th
Street & Vermont
The car is northbound.
Notice that there are no buildings in sight. There useta was...homes
and stores. By this date (probably 1958 or so) they had all been
"redeveloped" into parking lots for the LA Coliseum, the monolith in the
background. That's okay, though; they were low rent accomodations
by this time anyway, so they people were easy to move out. Redevelopment
can do this for YOUR city, too. Just give it a chance, for heaven's
sake.
