3126 on a fantrip at 54th Street & Ness
This is actually 54th St. and Van Ness Avenue.  As I said on an earlier page, it was possible to head out the 5 line to 54th Street and then turn east towards Division 5 and, ultimately, downtown. 3126 was the first of the post-war PCCs, an all-electric car.  Standee windows did not become standard on PCCs until after the war, even though they appeared on some cars before WWII.
