(MP-41's) at Hempstead Crossing, between Country Life Press and Garden
City. These MP-41 cars operated in a shuttle from Country Life Press to
Mitchell Field and, at various times, Salisbury Plains and Meadowbrook.
They connected with Hempstead trains and a separate 5-cent fair was
charged for the ride. This operation was the last hold-out for the MP-41
cars.
