Montreal Tramways
A PCC car on the 29-Outremont line has just gone around the loop at its south terminus and is about to turn north (to the left in the photo) to start another trip to the  Snowdon neighbourhood on the other side of Mount Royal. Montreal Harbour is in back of the car and to the right. The tracks closest to the photographer were also used by the Montreal and Southern Counties interurbans whose station is behind the camera. The cars shared tracks with the Montreal Transportation Commission city cars but not overhead trolley lines. There were parallel overhead lines for the interurbans.
