New Orleans
A recent shot of the
"new" carbarn for the resurrected New Orleans "Canal" streetcar line. The
building was previously the original bus garage of New Orleans Public Service,
built c1925. It was never before used by streetcars.
This is probably the only bus garage that was ever converted into a streetcar
barn - a true "man-bites-dog" story.
