PTC Peter Witt car 8247 is seen running west on Columbia Avenue at Broad Street while assigned to a route 3 schedule.  Since that photo was taken, this North Philadelphia area was rejuvenated as part of the Temple University expansion program, the new Apollo Theatre and Progress Plaza shopping center were built, and Columbia Avenue was renamed Cecil B. Moore
       Boulevard in 1987.
