The SEPTA era
 Broad Street Subway car 1 (J.G. Brill, 1927) was seen at Fern Rock shops in the cardinal red paint scheme of 1962-64.  In 1978, the car was repainted with a blue and light gray exterior and a yellow interior to celebrate the subway's 50th anniversary.
