Philadelphia, PA
The two-car State
of the Arts train, shown at the Pattison terminus, was road tested on Philadelphia's
Broad Street line during the spring of 1975. The train was previously
road tested in New York, Boston, Cleveland, and Chicago before its arrival
in Philadelphia. Mayor Frank Rizzo said he would order 100 of these
cars if SEPTA had the money.
