New York Central #113 is
one of that railroad's famous "S-Motors." Built by Alco/GE in 1906
for the Grand Central Terminal electrification, this type was one of the
earliest successful electric locomotive designs. NYC #113 (also numbered
durings its life #3413, #3213, #1113 and Penn Central #4713) is now at
the Museum of Transportation, which repainted it a few years ago.
